Richard
Lucchesi

I turn complex technology and organizational priorities into practical products and learning experiences people can use.

Product-minded learning leader combining AI-assisted workflow design, adult learning, creative production, stakeholder partnership, and disciplined execution. I build with the user in mind, translate complexity into clarity, and improve experiences through evidence—not assumption.

The throughline
I build the bridge between complex ideas and confident action.

For more than two decades, my work has centered on a practical question: what must people understand, experience, and practice to perform differently?

That question has guided university curricula, AI-enabled product development, global digital media, leadership programs, workshops, video learning, and commercial partnerships. Across every setting, I begin with real needs, define useful outcomes, create the clearest path forward, and use feedback to improve what comes next.

I am equally comfortable shaping a vision, working through ambiguity, coaching collaborators, producing the deliverable, and explaining the result to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A practical operating system

From need to measurable performance.

Product development and learning design share the same discipline: understand the user, define the right problem, build intentionally, and keep improving.

1

Discover

Listen to users and stakeholders, assess needs, identify friction, and separate symptoms from the real performance problem.

2

Define

Translate business goals and technical possibilities into clear outcomes, requirements, priorities, and an actionable roadmap.

3

Build & Launch

Create learner-centered solutions across digital, instructor-led, video, job-aid, and AI-assisted formats—then manage delivery.

4

Measure & Improve

Use participation, behavior, performance, user feedback, and operational data to refine both the experience and the system.

Selected evidence

Strategy that becomes something real.

A portfolio spanning AI product thinking, scalable learning, creative operations, stakeholder leadership, and behavior-focused design.

Scalable Learning & Media

HallyuBack: a decade-long learning and content operation

Built and operated two global channels by combining audience insight, production systems, storytelling, and continuous experimentation.

  • Directed 2,500+ end-to-end content cycles and personally edited approximately 99%.
  • Used audience behavior and analytics to improve topics, formats, clarity, and retention.
  • Led creative strategy, schedules, quality control, partnerships, and commercial execution.
  • Made unfamiliar cultural topics accessible and compelling to a global audience.
Behavior Change

Learning designed for participation—not passive completion

Created active, relevant experiences that moved learners from knowing to doing.

  • Redesigned campus English Corner programming; registration reached capacity in ten minutes.
  • Built a performance-based video assessment for roughly 140 learners with nearly 100% participation.
  • Established unscripted communication as the standard, then used practice, feedback, recognition, and reflection to build confidence.
  • Develops learning for adult and international audiences across classroom, workshop, video, and digital formats.
Leadership & Delivery

Multidisciplinary production under real constraints

Directed a university studio initiative from team formation through launch.

  • Led a six-person production team and 10+ student performers.
  • Owned hiring, auditions, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, filming, editing, and post-production.
  • Delivered ten episodes across two seasons while balancing creative goals, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Built trust through clear standards, direct communication, and hands-on support.
